At first glance, the ratings of Zack Snyder’s Justice League seem particularly impressive. No fewer than 1.8 million households watched the film in the first weekend that it was online.
Samba TV revealed that 1.8 million households in the United States watched the Snyder Cut on the first weekend. This makes the four-hour film more popular than the first episode of Marvel series The Falcon and the Winter Soldier .
Who’s looking at him?
Samba TV director Jeffrey Silverman reports that his company defines a viewer as someone who has watched at least five minutes of a movie or television series. Interestingly, of the 1.8 million people who watched the movie, only 1/3 of the people saw it at all.
Of course, that does not mean that two thirds of the viewers did not finish the film at all. The film lasts no less than four hours, which is very long to watch in one go. A lot of people may have watched the movie in multiple sessions.
Zack Snyder’s Justice League tells the story of the film the way Zack Snyder envisioned it, showing how Earth’s heroes come together in a battle against Steppenwolf.
