Former actress Zaira Wasim, who appeared in Films like Dabang and Secret Superstar has been trolled badly due to her justification for locust attack on the basis of religion.

The year 2020 has become a challenge for everyone. And there have been a series of attacks one by one since this year started. Now another bad news that came up is about the locust that is coming from Pakistan. They have now become a new problem for people already battling the coronavirus epidemic. According to the reports, the locust has entered many states of India including Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh. Amid of this regarding the locust attack Dabang starter Zaira Wasim gave her opinion about this and connected it to the religion. Recently, the former actress took to her Twitter and quoted a verse from the holy book of the Quran which became quite controversial. The tweet was captioned as: “So We sent upon them the flood and locusts and lice and frogs and blood: Signs openly self-explained: but they were steeped in arrogance- a people have given to sin – Qur’an 7:133.”

Right after posting this tweet, Zaira was badly trolled. The Quran verses didn’t go down well with the netizens, who accused Zaira and therefore started commenting on her post. However later she deleted the tweet. Below are some reactions made by the people:
