- Southern Ocean. The Southern Ocean is the fourth largest ocean with an average depth of 3270 meters . The deepest measured point of the Southern Ocean is 7235 meters.
- Atlantic Ocean. The Atlantic Ocean is the second largest ocean in the world and is on average 3646 meters deep . The deepest measured point in the Atlantic Ocean is 8,376 meters. Just for comparison; The highest point in the world can be found on Mount Everest at an altitude of 8848 meters.
- Indian Ocean. The Indian Ocean is the third largest ocean on our earth and this ocean is on average 3741 meters deep . The deepest measured point in the Indian Ocean is 7,258 meters.
- The great Ocean. The Pacific Ocean – also known as the Pacific Ocean – is the largest ocean on Earth. This is also reflected in the depth, because this ocean is on average 4280 meters deep . The deepest part of the Pacific Ocean is the Mariana Trench with a depth of about 11 kilometers . This is the deepest known place in the ocean.
