So finally, the 20 years old Alaia Furniturewalla got a chance to make a debut in the Bollywood. Alaia is the daughter of hottest actress Pooja Bedi, she is already famous as she has a huge fan following on the social media. After Janhvi Kapoor, Sara Ali Khan and Ananya Panday, now Alaia has joined the league and she is ecstatic to make her debut with Saif Ali Khan.
Alaia is very hot and her Instagram photos are the proof. Born to Pooja Bedi and her ex-husband Farhan Furniturewalla, soon-to-turn 21 Aalia will be playing the daughter of Saif Ali Khan in her debut Bollywood film. She is debuting with film ‘Jawaani Jaaneman’. It is a coming-of-age story of a 40 yr old man and revolves around his relationship with his daughter, reportedly.
Mumbai Mirror reported,
“Saif will be seen as a man in his late 40s, who refuses to grow up. He believes in living life to the fullest, but soon realises that he has a teenage daughter. In other words, he is an unmarried, accidental dad in the rom-com,” a source revealed to the publication. Saif is comfortable with his age and playing a father to a teenager on screen. Moreover, this role is different from his real-life persona, so he felt it would be interesting to take it up”
About choosing Alaia, earlier Alia, (she changed the spellings of her name now), Saif told Mumbai Mirror–
“She has all the qualities we were looking for in a young lead, the charm and energy to take the film to the level that it needs. We are lucky to have found our perfect cast and i’m looking forward to work with Alaia.”
Alaia also shared this news with excitement and wrote on Instagram –
