Now, Alia Bhatt appears in a deepfake clip that has gone popular online. Similar tapes featuring actors Kajol and Rashmika Mandanna had previously surfaced. Concerns about the application of artificial intelligence (AI) have been raised by the videos. Alia’s visage gets transformed into that of a different woman in the video. The woman can be seen making suggestive motions while staring into the camera in the footage.
A deepfake video of Kajol became viral a few days ago. According to fact-checking websites, the video was actually of a British social media influencer who posted it on TikTok as part of the “Get Ready With Me” craze.
Additionally, PM Modi has voiced concern about the dangers presented by AI, particularly deepfakes, “We need to educate people about artificial intelligence and deepfakes, how it works, what it can do, what all challenges it can bring and whatever can be made out of it.”
Earlier Rashmika said, “Something like this is honestly, extremely scary, not only for me, but also for each one of us who today is vulnerable to so much harm because of how technology is misused.”
Deepfakes are videos that have been digitally manipulated to appear to be someone else’s face or body. Artificial intelligence has advanced to the point where deepfake videos are incredibly accurate.
Professionally, Alia Bhatt is currently filming Jigra, an action film that is co-produced by Karan Johar and directed by Vasan Bala. Her most recent on-screen appearance was in Ranveer Singh’s Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani, directed by Karan Johar.
