According to the latest reports, there is news that Shaheen Bhatt and Alia Bhatt have been receiving constant threats of rape on social media for the past month. Shaheen shared some screenshots of those threats on Instagram and expressed his anger. They have been receiving end of heavy backlash ever since Sushant Singh Rajput died by suicide on June 14. The theory of Nepotism in Bollywood suddenly came to the force with the news of Sushant’s death. Netizens are also slamming her to take the privilege of being an insider in Bollywood. Because of the rage among the people let us tell you that the first poster of Alia’s upcoming film Sadak 2 also met with severe criticism. Netizens are calling for “a boycott” of the movie on social media.
Now, Alia’s sister Shaheen Bhatt has taken to Instagram to share screenshots of several rape threats and abusive messages that they have been receiving. Although Alia was silent, Shaheen opened her mouth. She writes, “In India, one woman is raped every 15 minutes. 80% of women are victims of domestic violence. Are you surprised at such an attack on us there? I’m not. ” Shaheen said, “If I still get such messages, I will block that person first and report to the Insta authorities.” If necessary, I will also make the name of that person public. And will track the IP addresses of that person as it is easily trackable. I will walk the legal path”.
