And during that time he was also dating Jaya. The two were planning to go on vacation with friends in London. But when his father, Harivansh Rai Bachchan came to know about this he told him he could go only after the two were married. So Amitabh and Jaya decided to tie the knot the very next day and catch their flight to London at night. Although the actor revealed the real reason, it seems rather unbelievable. Talking about Jaya after the wedding, she left the industry at the peak of her career. But today they both stand strong as a couple.
