ETimes had only uncovered that Sonam Kapoor will soon be in the city, ahead of her baby’s birth. . And now that she is stationed at the Kapoor home, her excited parents are preparing for a grand baby shower.
Sonam, who is in her third trimester, had already hosted low key baby shower for her close friends in London. Presently, a Kapoor style celebration is being arranged. Excited grandparents-to-be, Anil and Sunita Kapoor have been preparing for a Bohemian-theme baby shower for Sonam Kapoor, reports Pinkvilla. Talking about being a grandfather, Anil Kapoor had told ETimes, “I have enjoyed every phase of my life and I’ve always gone on the front foot. When I went to get married, everybody said, ‘don’t get married, it’s too early for you to get married’, but I got married. When I had children, everybody was, ‘you know, it’s too early to have children’ but I had my children. The children grew up with me and became my friends. And I knew I had to do what I did because the film career is just part of me, it’s not my whole life.”
In March this year, Sonam Kapoor had announced her pregnancy with dreamy pictures. “Four hands. To raise you the very best we can. Two hearts. That will beat in unison with yours, every step of the way. One family. Who will shower you with love and support. We can’t wait to welcome you.”
