The next stage in the creation of applications for Apple’s recently unveiled Vision Pro headset will be signalled by the opening of applications for the Vision Pro developer kit in July. Emanuel Tomozei, an Apple AR/VR prototyper, tweeted that interested developers will probably be able to apply for the kit starting next month, according to AppleInsider.
Tomozei did not give a specific release date for the developer kit but did say that it appears the application process would start in July. Additionally, he sent a link to a ‘Work with Apple’ page that highlighted the availability of the company’s assistance in July.
The Cupertino-based tech company claims that the upcoming developer kit would make it simple for programmers to create, test, and refine applications and games for the Vision Pro headset. This will guarantee that their creations are prepared to provide users with great experiences.
Apple this week revealed the Vision Pro headset, which aims to combine the virtual and real worlds. Early 2024 is the anticipated release date for the $3,499 headgear, with initial distribution in the US. The fully three-dimensional user interface of the Vision Pro, which can be operated by eye movements, hand gestures, and voice commands, is one of its most notable features.
Additionally, the Apple Vision Pro headset has EyeSight, a special feature that enhances social interaction.
Developers will have the chance to take advantage of Vision Pro’s capabilities as the application process gets underway and study how it can transform how people interact with digital material in the real world.
