Bengali actor Aindrila Sharma succumbed to multiple cardiac arrests on Sunday afternoon at 24. The actor had gone through a long battle have suffered intermittent cardiac arrests. Post witnessing a brain stroke the actor was admitted to a hospital in Kolkata for more than two weeks on November 1. Industry artists and her friends have expressed their condolence and paid tribute to the young actor.
According to the sources, Aindrila, sustained on ventilator support, and died at 12.59 pm due to cardiac issues despite incessant efforts put forth by the medical team. Earlier she also went through a surgery while her 20-day stay in the hospital.
Actor Prosenjit Chatterjee took to Twitter “Stay in peace Aindrila. Let Aindrila’s will power be our inspiration.” Actor Jeet expressed his grief and support towards Aindrila’s boyfriend, actor Sabyasachi Chowdhury, and penned down, “My deepest condolences for her family & fans..Stay strong #SabyasachiChowdhury no words can suffice the pain you are going through.” Composer and filmmaker Indraadip Dasgupta took to Twitter and wrote, “Long live Aindrila in our hearts and memories…. It’s just a transition for a soul like you to the next level …. You are the best.”
On Saturday, Aindrila’s boyfriend Sabyasachi shared about the health status of the actor on Facebook stating that her condition is fortunately improving with the passage of time and brought down the reports of her death. Later he deleted the posts as her condition deteriorated.
Aindrila, made her debut in the industry with Jhumur, and then acted in TV shows like Jibon Jyoti and Jiyon Kathi. She also got featured in some Bengali OTT series. She combated cancer twice.
