They wrote on social media, ‘With immeasurable grief we confirm the passing of Chadwick Boseman. In 2016, Chadwick’s stage 3 colon cancer was diagnosed, and it advanced to stage IV, fighting with it over the last 4 years. Chadwick also acted like a true warrior during this period and brought a lot of films for you which you liked very much. The post reported that Chadwick used to shoot his films amidst many surgeries and chemotherapy. The post stated, ‘Chadwick died at home in the presence of his wife and family. The family thanks you for your love and prayers and hopes to honor their privacy in this difficult time. ‘
