The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) came up with good news for all the students who are going to appear in the 10th board exam 2021. So check out what the news is.
The Central Board of Secondary Education has brought relief to all the students, teachers, and parents. According to the latest announcement by CBSE, there will now be a No-fail concept!. This means that these students appearing in the 10th board exam of 2021 will not be failed and will be promoted to the next class.
In regard to this education minister Ramesh Pokhriyal Nishank said that if any students get failed in an important subject like Science, Mathematics and Social Science, then those subject will be replaced by the “Skill Subject”. And the final score will be seen based on a total of five subjects.
So now the good thing is that students will not have to repeat the year, which is not less than a positive thing for all the students and parents. And that’s the reason why the decision made by the authorities is been welcomed by all.
So What’s the reason behind this decision:
Well, let us inform you that this concept has been introduced keeping in mind the government’s Skill India initiative. Because we all know that many students have marks but they lack skills. And that’s the main reason why these things have been introduced. This will not only enhance the skill of a child but at the same hand, it will also save the year of the student.
So now the education system will focus on the practical aspects. Along with just giving the marks. The CBSE has now introduced the skill-based Learning Program and is also witnessing an increase in its demand. In 2020 the percent of choosing this option was 20%. However, in 2021 this percentage went up to 30%. So overall the advantage will be that if the student who lacks bookish knowledge they can enhance the skills for a better future.
