One of the grand marriages of the year 2018 includes Bollywood actors Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone’s marriage. The couple tied the knot on November 14 and 15 as per Konkani and Sindhi traditions in Italy. They gave to receptions in Bengaluru and Mumbai respectively.
Their Mumbai reception was for Bollywood friends and colleagues where biggies Shah Rukh Khan, Katrina Kaif, Kareena Kapoor Khan, Anushka Sharma, Amitabh Bachchan, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Arjun Kapoor and others graced the event. However, Deepika’s ex-boyfriend Ranbir Kapoor and his new girlfriend Alia Bhatt were absent from the reception.
It was reported by some of the leading entertainment portals that the two actors were busy in the shoot of their upcoming film Brahmastra. A lot was discussed about the same and now, Deepika herself reacted on this. The actress said,
“We’ve not spoken. I mean, we spoke before the reception but we have not spoken after. But, that’s him. I’m not surprised at all. But, that’s the relationship we share and that’s the beauty of that relationship; so much is said without saying much at all.”
Deepika Padukone and Ranbir Kapoor were in love years ago. Deepika was so mad in his love that she inked his name on her neck, she later removed the tattoo. However, they moved on with their lives and now share friendly terms.
