After getting married on November 14 and 15, while Ranveer Singh already got back to work and his two of films Gully Boy and Simmba released, Deepika is also making a comeback. She recently announced her venture into production with film Chhapaak, directed by Meghna Gulzar.
This film is a biopic of acid attack survivor Laxmi Agarwal. Deepika will also play the lead role in the film. And the filmmakers recently released the first look of Deepika from the film and it will give goosebumps. She is looking totally different and this character of her named Malti in the film will be seared into memory forever.
Deepika Padukone took to social media to share the look and by her caption she meant to say that this character will stay with her forever. Take a look below:

Along with Deepika, actor Vikrant Massey is also playing a pivotal role in the film. He will play the role of Malti’s partner in Chhapaak. The film is scheduled to release on January 10, 2020.
