With barely 10 days left for the wedding bells to ring for Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh, the wedding festivities have already started in their families with a hustle and bustle. While the pre-wedding functions of Deepika kickstarted at her home in Bengaluru with a traditional Nandi Puja, the actress was spotted back in Mumbai soon after.
Whenever it is an occasion of some celebrities’ wedding the eyes of the media, as well as fans, stick to the kind of dressing they are wearing, jewellery and location of their wedding. Now, if recent reports are anything to go by, then the Padmaavat actress has already shopped for her Mangalsutra and it costs a whopping sum of Rs 20 lakh. Yes, you read it right, the cost of her Mangalsutra is Rs 20 lakhs.
According to the various media reports, Deepika paid a visit to a jewellery shop in Andheri and bought a solitaire Mangalsutra worth Rs 20 lakh. Reportedly, it is Deepika’s common shop for buying jewellery pieces. She has bought many from this shop in the past too. Not only the Mangalsutra but Deepika has also bought a gold chain for soon-to-be husband Ranveer Singh along with some more jewellery items for herself. And the total cost her jewellery shopping spree was about Rs 1 crore, reportedly.
To let you know, Ranveer and Deepika announced that they will tie the knot on November 14-15 this year. Deepika Padukone, 32, and Ranveer Singh, 33, have co-starred in films such as Ram-Leela, Bajirao Mastani and Padmaavat – all of them directed by Sanjay Leela Bhansali.
