Delivery executive workers as a study have been found to be the highest paid freshers in the blue and grey collar economy.
Billion Careers on a report titled salary trends which is a subsidiary of Quess Corp, featured that certain jobs at fresher level richly pay the executives. In January 2023 of blue and grey collar industry, aligned with the jobs on Qjobs, their digital hiring platform, the average salary of delivery executives range between Rs 2.24- Rs 3.68 lakh per annum (LPA).
It mentioned that delivery workers in Bengaluru and Chennai earn higher compared to those in Mumbai and Kolkata. Moreover, delivery executives having four or more years of experience in Hyderabad earn more against their counterparts in other cities. While in Delhi, executives with one or less than a year of experience earn less comparatively.
The highest earnings for customer care professionals (those with 4+ years of experience) in Bengaluru ranged at Rs 2.64 LPA while in Hyderabad at Rs 2.63 LPA.
For telecallers, Chennai bags the highest average at Rs 2.12 LPA, thereafter Bengaluru at Rs 2.07 LPA for 1-3 years of experience. On the hindsight, Mumbai offers Rs 2.47 LPA with 4 or more years of experience, the data stated.
The report mentioned that field sales executives with four or more years of experience made the highest salaries.
For Back Office Executives, people in Mumbai gained highest average salary for those who have four years of experience at Rs 3.12 LPA. While in Kolkata, Pune, and Bengaluru featured similar salary trends . Freshers in Chennai were the highest paid at Rs 2.46 LPA while the least is earned in Hyderabad, at Rs 1.80 LPA.
