According to the information, DIG-rank officers will inspect the work of this SIT. The move comes after many Shinde camp MLAs demanded that Thackeray be investigated in the Disha Salian suicide case. The BJP had even alleged that the Maha Vikas Aghadi government suppressed the Disha Salian death case under Uddhav Thackeray.

Allegations against Aditya Thackeray have been initiated and now the DIG-rank officers will oversee the Special Investigation Team (SIT) handling the case. Disha Salian suicide is connected to Sushant Singh Rajput’s death. The 28-year-old Salian allegedly died by suicide, expressing work-related stress to a friend in London before her tragic fall. The subsequent linking of her case with Sushant Singh Rajput’s demise on June 14, 2020, raised suspicions and fueled conspiracy theories surrounding both deaths.
Why Aditya Thackeray is being investigated?
Yuva Sena chief Aditya Thackeray is now facing an investigation in connection with Disha Salian’s case. Accusations from the ruling party and the Rane family demanded a narco test and the tracing of Thackeray’s location. The Thackeray family is maintaining a cautious stance, while Home Minister Devendra Fadnavis announced the SIT investigation a year ago in response to mounting accusations.
