Esha Gupta Denies Friendship With Hardik Pandya, Loses Her Cool When Questioned About Him

It seems that this is not a good time for Hardik Pandya. The all-rounder has already received a flak for his sexist or disrespectful comments on women at Koffee With Karan 6. He also gets suspended from the Australian ODI series by the BCCI over his comments along with teammate KL Rahul. However, he has apologized already for his actions.

Known to be linked with many women from the Bollywood industry, Hardik Pandya’s rumored girlfriend Esha Gupta was recently questioned about his remarks. Esha Gupta was present at the launch of her new single ‘Get Dirty’ in Mumbai. A reporter asked about her views on her ‘friend’ Hardik Pandya’s filthy comments on women. The actress is said to have lost her cool and responded saying, “Who is the one who told you (Hardik Pandya) is my friend?”

Countering her own statement, Isha added saying,

“Firstly, women should not compare themselves with men. We are the best in every respect. I don’t want anyone to feel bad, but why don’t you give birth to a child? We suffer from periods five days every month and even then we have to dance, go to an office, and take care of the children. When you can do all this, you become superior “.

She further said,

“I do not think anyone should talk bad about any woman, if you think your family is not worried about it, then be it, but it is wrong on Humanity.”

Esha went on to say,

“We publicise such things and later raise questions, I think we should question everyone involved in the show.”

Isha also raised questions about Hardik’s family and education,

“Many times people get more excited and say such things. I think even then a little education should be given on how to talk, especially about women”.
