Famous Bollywood actor and dancer Veeru Krishnan known for his work in films like Hum Hain Rahi Pyaar Ke, Raja Hindustani, Mela, Dulhe Raja, Ishq etc has passed away recently. His final rites were performed at a crematorium in suburban Santacruz.
Not only an actor but he was also a professional Kathak dancer, who had trained a lot of celebrities such as Priyanka Chopra, Lara Dutta, Katrina Kaif, Karanvir Bohra among others. Many big Bollywood stars mourned the death of the Veeru Krishnan.
Many Bollywood and TV actors, including Katrina Kaif had received training in Kathak from Veeru. In a Teachers Day special interview in 2016 when Katrina was asked to name her favourite guru, she took Veeru Krishnan’s name. He also trained her sister Isabel Khan.
