Cillian Murphy had been basking on with the success of his rol in Christopher Nolan’s Oppenheimer in the garb of physicist J Robert Oppenheimer, critically known as the father of the Atomic Bomb. The biopic was launched in global theaters on July 21, meanwhile Greta Gerwig’s film Barbie, which shows the story of plastic dolls, Barbie and her boyfriend Ken in the real world was released on the same date.

In a fresh conversation with Cinefilos, Cillian was being asked on whether he would accept the offer of playing Ken. He readily agreed and said, “Sure, yeah! Let’s read the script and let’s have a conversation. I can’t wait to see it. I think it’s great for cinema to get all these great movies happening this summer.”

Both the fronting films have been doing tremendously equally well. Oppenheimer has surpassed Barbie in India while in the US box office, Barbie is doing much better in its opening weekend.
