IND vs SA: Rishabh Pant loses the toss again, South Africa to field

India has lost the toss once again as this is the third consecutive loss in toss by Rishabh Pant.

South Africa has won the tricky toss again and decided to field first and goes with the same team for the third T20I.

It is acceptable for the Proteas to go with the same team after having played dominantly and the unfortunate unavailability of Quinton has forced them to go with the same eleven.

Talking about team India, Rishabh Pant’s call will surely surprise the Indian fans as the team goes with the same team despite losing the last two games.

The squad includes Deepak Hooda, Umran Malik, Arshdeep Singh, Ravi Bishnoi, and also Venkatesh Iyer who were some of the possibilities to get a chance but Rishabh and company have decided to go unchanged.

India will be thriving to put on their 100% efforts once again and will be trying to break the embarrassing record of consecutively losing by the Proteas.

Primarily India’s major concern is their bowling unit after the same playing XI has failed twice, in Delhi as well as in Cuttack.

Bhuvneshwar Kumar has been fantastic in striking early wickets with the new ball but a single bowler with the maximum spell of 4 overs cannot change the game entirely.

The main concern that Rishabh Pant also feels is that the Indian spinners have not come into play yet and the middle order of South Africa turns the table as the visitors go wicketless during the middle order.

Visakhapatnam will be hosting the third and the most critical game especially for the hosts as they have the slightest chance to make a comeback tonight

“We would have bowled as well. But as an Indian team, we are not looking at the toss too much, just looking to play good cricket. Same team. We spoke about getting better in execution. Planning and tactics are all fine, but if we can execute better we will be fine. Looks like a better wicket, but feels a bit soft underneath,” says skipper Pant.

This is a crucial game for the hosts as South Africa has an upper hand to snatch away yet another series win and a reminder to all the fans that South Africa has won all the T20 series played in India. Can India find their first T20 series win at home?

South Africa has won the toss and chose to bowl first.
