If you’ve ever gone through the history of voice commands given to your smart assistant, you might find that the younger members of the house are asking Alexa, Siri, and Google Assistant tough questions. Arguably the most difficult of all comes at this time of year, when curious kids ask Alexa if Santa really exists.

For the sake of scientific research, I can reveal how the three voice assistants answer the question.
Alexa on Santa is real or not?
Alexa is already stocking up around this time of year, failing to tell you exactly what’s in the box when the Amazon Assistant notifies you of impending deliveries. However, how does Alexa handle the Santa question? By responding with a clever deviation.
“All I know is someone ate my minced meat pies and Santa looks like that.”
Alexa should consider a career in politics.
Google Assistant
Google often offers treats this time of year, like the Google Santa Tracker, which helps you chart the great man’s journey across the planet in all different time zones. So, is the question of whether Santa Claus is real totally moot?
“I think he’s up to some pretty cool stuff at the North Pole this year,” Google Assistant replies to my question.
I mark this as affirmative.
Siri
If you’ve ever watched an Apple keynote, there are so many “magical” things on display that even Santa Claus would seem downright mundane by comparison. So, does Siri also believe in some offline magic?
“Well, the reindeer and the North Pole exist, so things are moving in the right direction.”
Even when it comes to Santa Claus, Apple focuses on trends …

Finally, parents, please don’t let your curious kids get lost in the web’s most famous encyclopedia. Let’s just say that he is typically academic in his biography of the great man.
Merry Christmas to everyone.
