The current dispute between Joe Jonas and Sophie Turned is being resolved off the court. The former couple is now attempting to settle their custody dispute peacefully after garnering media attention over it regarding their two kids. After many tumultuous weeks, Jonas has requested that his Miami divorce suit be dismissed. According to Page Six, the vocalist for the Jonas Brothers has asked to have his petition for divorce dismissed and will settle matters with his ex-wife outside of court.
The court filings that Page Six was able to get state that Sophie and Joe have come to “various agreements” and want to “pursue an amicable resolution of all issues.”
Willa, 3, and Delphine, 1, will be co-parented by Joe and Sophie. Additionally, the children’s time with each parent will be equal.

The pair said in a statement to Page Six, “After a productive and successful mediation, we have agreed that the children will spend time equally in loving homes in both the US and the UK. We look forward to being great co-parents.”
Earlier, Sophie and Joe released a joint statement which read, “Statement from the two of us: After four wonderful years of marriage we have mutually decided to amicably end our marriage. There are many speculative narratives as to why but, truly this is a united decision and we sincerely hope that everyone can respect our wishes for privacy for us and our children.”

But once Turner filed a custody lawsuit against Joe for their two girls, things between them deteriorated quickly. Turner said in her complaint that Joe is refusing to give their children passports and is preventing them from returning to England.
In 2019, Joe and Sophie were married after dating for about three years. Willa, the couple’s first child, was born in 2020, and their second daughter was born in 2022.
