Megastar Jr NTR has arrived in Japan for the grand release of his movie RRR, directed by SS Rajamouli. He is also accompanied by his co-actor Ram Charan and the director. The film, which has been a roaring at the box office in India has now braced itself to spread some charm in Japan. Recently, before the release, fans in the country have been creating content especially dance videos on the movie’s song which have went viral across the globe. A heartwarming gesture was shown by the fans of Jr NTR which captured eyeballs at large. The actor was seen taking selfies with fans while also wiping the tears of the fans who broke down seeing him face-to-face.
A paparazzo account posted on Instagram a video with the caption, “NTR Jr’s fandom breaks boundaries! His fans were emotional to see their favorite star in Japan for #RRR promotions.” Fans showered a series of comments stating the star’s fandom have crossed border. Another identified him to be the ‘asli (real) hero’.
“Oh my God, there are so many people here. Somebody has written ‘dhanyavad (thank you)’ as well (in the letter),” Jr NTR averred out of excitement in the clip. He also received a letter in Hindi by a Nepali fan who made her efforts to pen down some words of appreciation in Hindi for the actor.
On Wednesday, NTR approached with his wife and the team for the promotions in the country which was slated to be released on Friday.
The film served to be garner an exceptional earning of ₹1112 crore overseas. It has also been listed in the general film category in the prestigious Oscars. Moreover, it had engulfed a cult movement in the States while also topping the charts on the OTT platform of Netflix.
