Kangana Ranaut is constantly targeted by politicians after comparing Mumbai to PoK. The most vocal Shiv Sena leader has been against Kangana, with party MP and spokesperson Sanjay Raut at the top. Ever since Kangana announced her arrival in Mumbai on 9 September, the reports of attacks against her have intensified. After Kangana Ranaut’s statement to return to Mumbai on September 9, BMC has also started preparing for it. According to reports, the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) will quarantine her for 7 days after she arrives in Mumbai.

Earlier, the BMC had quarantined an IPS officer of Bihar Police when he arrived in Mumbai to investigate the Sushant case. There was a lot of criticism of Maharashtra government and BMC about this. As per Standard Operating Procedure (SOP), it is mandatory to have a home quarantine for 14 days, but if Kangana shows her return ticket within 7 days then she will not have to quarantine herself. The SOP mentions that there will be no exemption for Kangana as she does not fall under the essential services.

Y Category protection for Kangana Ranaut
In view of the threats being received by Kangana, the Central Government has announced to give Y category security to her on the recommendation of Himachal Government. Now about 10 armed commandos will be deployed under Kangna’s security for twenty four hours. Kangana tweeted, ‘This is proof that no fascist will be able to crush any patriotic voice now, Govt would have advised me to go to Mumbai after a few days due to the circumstances, but they kept the words of a daughter of India, and our Proud of self-respect, Jai Hind. ‘
