Manoj Bajpayee’s The Fable Made History: Wins Big at Leeds International Film Festival!

Indian cinema has achieved a groundbreaking milestone! The Fable, directed by Raam Reddy and starring Manoj Bajpayee, has become the first-ever Indian film to win the Best Film award at the prestigious Leeds International Film Festival 2024. This is a big moment as no Indian film had ever achieved this at the UK-based festival since it started in 1987. The award is added to The Fable’s growing list of achievements as the movie also debuted at the Berlinale Film Festival 2024 and won the Special Jury Prize at the MAMI Mumbai Film Festival.

The Fable left behind such tough competitors as Simon of the Mountain, the latest title-winner of the Argentina film festival, Toxic from Lithuanian latest title-winner of the Lithuanian film festival and Lovable from Norway. Before this, the folks embraced the film at various film festivals held in Spain, Brazil, and Ireland. Next, it heads to screenings in France and Singapore, where Manoj Bajpayee and Raam Reddy will attend.

And Manoj Bajpayee has delivered a memorable performance as Dev.
