At the most recent showing of the film Dhak Dhak, there was a reunion between the Sarabhai brothers.One of the four starring ladies of the road trip film, Ratna Pathak Shah, reunited with Rupali Ganguly, who portrayed her daughter-in-law in the cult comedy series by Aatish Kapadia.
On Thursday, Rupali uploaded three photos with Ratna on her Instagram page as the two erstwhile co-stars smiled for the camera. She referred to her relationship with Ratna as a “precious connect” in the caption. Ratna is dressed in a patterned black top with a necklace and earrings, while Rupali is sporting a white kurti and silver jhumkas. In the first image, the two are embracing.
Rupali mockingly wrote, “2nd pic she switched on the Mummyjee mode 😂😂I love you forever #ratnapathakshah (red heart emoji).”
Fans go awe and hyped up seeing the pictures, someone wrote, “I have started watching Sarabhai again…it feels like yesterday…nothing between u both have changed (hearts in eyes emojis and red heart emoji) Monisha beta Tv Actors ke saath photo khichwana is just the epitome of Middle class (laughing with cryes emoji) haha I still remember it.”
Another wrote, “Awwlee, what a cute reunion indeed!! (emojis).” “2nd pic : Monnisha beta tum itni sophisticated kaise ho gyi how is this possible (surprise emoji),” said a comment. A user even noted that Dia Mirza, Ratna’s Dhak Dhak co-star, may be seen in the third image’s backdrop. “Pichhe Dia Mirza hai (There’s Dia Mirza behind them) (red heart emojis),” they penned down.
Star One first aired Sarabhai Vs. Sarabhai in 2004. In 2017, it was back for a second season on Disney+ Hotstar under the title Take 2. Recently, Satish Shah and Rajesh Kumar, Ratna and Rupali’s Sarabhai co-stars, got together for supper.
