Nargis told that when she came to India, she was very thin and when her weight increased, people assumed her to be pregnant. Nargis, who recently became a part of Lakme Fashion Week, said in a conversation with Hindustan Times, ‘I think people expect a certain look and appearance from you, so there is pressure to maintain that look’.
‘When I first came to India, I was very thin, everyone told me that I needed to gain weight. But I maintained it and kept it. I am naturally thin. Later I gained a little weight, then people said that I am pregnant, which I thought was not funny, but it was very funny. Hearing all this, I was very hurt at first, but later I realized that it is my job to take care of myself. Then I reduced my weight a little. Worked out and brought it back to its body shape.
These days Nargis is also in a lot of discussion about the news of dating with US-based Kashmiri businessman. In response to the question of whether the actress is really dating a businessman, the actress said, ‘You know people talk a lot, so I would not like to say anything about it. Because everyone writes what they want to write, I will just give everyone a chance to have fun.
