Pakistani Captain Sarfaraz Ahmed’s ‘Mama’ Also Wanted India to Win, Why?

In 16th June’s much-hyped India-Pakistan cricket match of world cup 2019, India beat Pakistan with 89 runs. It was India’s huge win on Pakistan. Indian people obviously wanted India to win and avenge the shameful defeat we had in Champions Trophy 2017. But apart from India, there was a Pakistani man who surprisingly wanted India to win.

Yes, you read it right and more surprisingly he is none another Pakistan team’s captain Sarfaraz Ahmed’s maternal uncle or ‘Mama’, Mahmood Hasan. He told the media that “I want India to win this match but I also want that my nephew Sarfaraz scores century in every match so that he remains Pakistan’s captain. However, as far as the victory is concerned I will pray to God that only India will win.”

To let you know, Sarfaraz’s maternal uncle is an Indian. Since 1995 he has been working as a Senior Clerk at Baba Sahab Bhimrao Ambedkar Agricultural Engineering College, Etawah. He said that of course, his nephew Sarfaraz Ahmed is the captain of Pakistan, but the trophy will be win by our India only. He said that I always wish that my nephew Sarfaraz plays well, but the victory will be achieved by his country India only.
