It seems that BJP is about to go now, as it faced defeats in elections in 3 states. However, BJP also showed some calmness in accepting the defeat and not blaming it on the Electronic voting machines or anything else. Prime Minister Narendra Modi, after the defeat, said that the result will make them work even harder for the development of India.
Against the usual, Prime Minister Narendra Modi infact tweeted his congratulations for the Congress, Telangana’s K Chandrashekar Rao and the Mizo National Front for their victories in the assembly elections this evening. “We accept the people’s mandate with humility,” his tweet read.
He also tweeted that,
With Modi’s tweet, it seems that he already knew that it’s going to happen or one can say it’s a good time of Indian politics where the opposition is appreciating the victory.
To let you know, BJP lost to Congress in 2018 elections in 3 states including Madhya Pradesh, Rajasthan and Chhattisgarh.
