Ranji Trophy: Karnataka opener Mayank Agarwal gets out cheaply in the Quarter Finals as Shivam Mavi gives the first breakthrough to Uttar Pradesh

Mayank Agarwal did not have a good season at the top-notch league of India – IPL and soon packed his bags to play for the state in the crucial knockout stages. While Paddikal was benched in the Quarter Finals, Mayank Agarwal was sent to open the innings with some positive hopes.

Shivam Mavi struck the first wicket to give UP a phenomenal breakthrough which resulted in the early dismissal of Mayank. While opening partner Ravikumar Samarth is playing at the strike rate of almost 110, Karun Nair comes to back up the Karnataka innings.

Captain Manish Pandey restrains himself to bat at “down 1” and might come next if UP strikes another one today.
