During a pitch where someone asked for 100 hours from the Sharks, Vineeta did some quick math and told them their combined value was a whopping 100 crore rupees! How did she calculate it? Simply equating 1 hour of a Shark’s time to 1 crore rupees. This clever calculation even impressed her fellow Shark, Aman Gupta. According to this if the Sharks work an average of 12-13 hours a day over the weekend, it adds up to around 24 hours. Based on those as calculated by Vineeta, the Sharks’ collective worth could be as high as 120 crore rupees.
So their paychecks should say 12 crore per day. Some theories suggest that in the first season, they were paid somewhere between 5 to 10 lakhs. It’s believed that their pay is in a similar range this season. However, considering they only work on weekends for about 12-13 hours a day, 20 lakhs per week does not justify for what they bring to the show. It’s a puzzle why their pay doesn’t match their perceived value on the business reality stage.
