Vicky Kaushal is going to feature in yet another family drama following the huge success of Zara Hatke Zara Bachke. The Great Indian Family, supported by Yash Raj Films, also features Manushi Chillar in the starring role. On September 22, the film directed by Vijay Krishna Acharya will open in theatres.
The first teaser for the movie, which provides a look inside the funny family drama, was published by the producers on Monday. The film, which is set in the heartland of India, centres on the chaos that breaks out in Vicky’s character’s family as a result of certain unanticipated and unforeseen events.
The actor is shown in the teaser praising family and relationships to the point of tears as he talks about his eccentric relatives. He even refers to his family as “snakes” that are prepared to crush his goals. Then, other voices can be heard chastising him for disparaging his loved ones. They are known as “The Great Indian Family,” and he swiftly pauses and warns the audience about them.
Fans were excited to see the teaser, someone wrote, “Superb”, “Vicky is acing his comedy skills”, “LOL this looks hilarious” and “Pritam ka music matlab Arijit Singh ka gaana wah maaza ayega ab.”
Vicky Kaushal also has Meghna Gulzar’s Sam Maneckshaw biography, which is aiming for a December release. Manushi Chillar, a former Miss World, made her acting debut with Samrat Prthviraj last year.
Sadiya Siddiqui, Manoj Pahwa, Kumud Mishra, Alka Amin, Shrishti Dixit, and Bhuvan Arora are among the other actors that appear in The Great Indian Family.
