Music fans are shocked after the death of US musician Dan Sartain. As he was only 40 years old. Friends and acquaintances grieve online.

Music fans recently said goodbye to a real cult rock star far too soon. As can currently be read on a “GoFundMe” donation page, the musician Dan Sartain has died. The former singer of the band Plate Six was only 40 years old. The donations will be used to fund a funeral in Alabama in support of his family, as can be read on the page. According to the information, there is no cause of death on the donation page. So what Dan Sartain died of remains unclear for the time being. The exact date of death is also currently not known. “Dan Sartain left us a lot of memories and music, but unfortunately left us much too early,” said a statement on the page.
The singer was born on August 13, 1981, and began his career in the 1990s with the hardcore band Plate Six. The singer-songwriter and guitarist released his first two self-produced albums in 2001 (“Crimson Guard”) and 2002 (“Romance In Stereo”) on independent record labels. Over the years he toured with the likes of The White Stripes and The Hives, and in 2009 released the single “Bohemian Grove” on Jack White’s Third Man Records.
After the shocking news broke out that he is no more Jeff Klein, singer-songwriter for the band tweeted “It’s sad to hear the news about my old buddy and labelmate @DanSartain,” And her fans showed the grief taking to their respective Twitter handle.
