The crime thriller “Above Suspicion” tormented the American viewer for too long with the expectation of slutty Emilia Clarke. It’s terrible to say – already four years old. But already on May 14, viewers of select US cinemas and digital platforms will finally be able to enjoy all the advantages of the picture from all sides. The story of a real crime introduces us to Susan Smith (Clarke), tired of crime and drugs, who escapes from everything to a provincial town. There she becomes an informant for an attractive and married FBI agent, with whom she immediately enters into violent hazing. This passion threatens not only their investigation, but also themselves.
Phillip Noyce ( “Salt” ) directed the film from a script by Chris Gerolmo ( “Mississippi on Fire” ). Jack Houston, Thora Birch, Johnny Knoxville and Brian Franklin shared the set with Clarke.
