A big rumor recently started circulating online where some people claimed that Beyoncé was paid a whopping $10 million to appear at Vice President Kamala Harris’ rally in Houston in October. But Beyoncé’s mother, Tina Knowles, was quick to shut it down.

    Beyoncé

On 18th of November Beyonce‘s mother Tina who is 70 years old decided to make a post straight on her Instagram after the news circulated that Beyoncé was paid a whopping $10 million . She dismissed the accusations and stated that all the allegations were fake. In response to the comments, she wrote, saying: ‘This is fake news.’ It should be noted that in addition to the post, Tina has published an insight with a blurred screenshot of where the entire rumor seemed to be originated from a podcast account run by political commentator Candace Owens. Tina said that Instagram had already banned the fake post and deleted it, but other platforms had not done the same.

What Tina Knowles Had to Say

In the post Tina described in great detail why the rumor was precisely wrong. She wrote: ‘The lie is that Beyoncé was paid 10 million dollars to speak at a rally in Houston for Vice President Kamala Harris’. Apparently, Beyoncé did not witness a single dime.” Tina proceeded to further that her daughter didn’t even work for free but any time they had to fly for the rally, make up, hair, her team, she footed the bill for all of them.Tina also was quickly angered stating that it was not only that they are trying to lying and disrespect Beyoncé name but also they want to undermine the power of the Vice President too. She went on to explain that this sort of rumour was not only unkind but was meant to cause more evil about both Beyoncé and Vice President Harris.

    Superstars Protesting Wrongful Allegations

This is not the first time a celebrity has been accused of being paid to support political candidates. Other celebrities that have received similar threats include Oprah Winfrey, Megan Thee Stallion and, Cardi B. The latest celebrity to comment on such rumors was Cardi B, who didn’t even mince words and addressed Candace Owens. Similar to Cardi B. Tina Knowles didn’t hold back. She ended her post with a powerful question: “When will these lies and rumors end?”

What really happened at Beyoncé’s Houston rally appearance

Contrary to sweaty rumors, Beyoncé did not get $10 million or even a dime for performing at Kamala Harris’ rally. Surprisingly she was using her own pocket money to meet her needs. This proves that she was supporting the Vice President and its cause to make a change without any compensation for her actions.Knowing the truth, Tina Knowles was certain to set out the records straight and drown the rumors. In her message she reminds people to always look deeper than what they see on the internet and not to take everything they find online as truth.
