Henry Cavill ‘s future as Superman is something that has been talked about a lot in recent times. Especially now that Warner Bros. develops a brand new version of the character.
The chance therefore seems quite small that there will be a second Man of Steel film, positive reactions to Zack Snyder’s Justice League or no positive reactions. At the same time, Cavill might return one more time.
A cameo?
Geekosity claims based on anonymous sources that the story of Henry Cavill and the DCEU is not completely finished. Mikey Sutton, editor of the site, writes,
“Henry Cavill’s Superman could return in The Rock’s first Black Adam movie. Insiders say the return is probably little more than a cameo.”
The news does not sound very strange. We know from Dwayne Johnson that he is a fan of the SnyderVerse and wants to keep it going for a while. Plus, he has a lot of credit with Warner Bros. and his business partner Dany Garcia is also Henry Cavill’s manager. Who knows, there may be a link there.
