Akshay Kumar’s Kesari is soon going to hit the screens. The film is releasing on March 21, 2019. Today we will tell you an interesting fact about the film, you will get surprised to know that Kesari production team made 30 similar uniforms for ‘Akshay Kumar’ in the film.
Moreover, the overall weight of Akshay’s costume including turban is 16 kg in ‘Kesari’. Yes, you read it right, Akshay Kumar wore a costume that weighed 16 kg. It was his huge turban plus metal ring on the head that holds turban in place. Metal ring at bottom of Akshay’s shoes contributes in weight of his costume.
The makers of the film made 30 similar costumes so that they can be replaced in case of wear and tear. To let you know, film Kesari is based on the historical Battle of Saragarhi. Akshay would be seen essaying the character of Havaldar Ishar Singh who participated in the battle of Saragarhi in 1897.
