The 95th Oscars which was reigned by Everything Everywhere All at Once, clinching maximum awards in Best Picture, Best Director, Best Actress, Best Actor in a Supporting Role and Best Actress in a Supporting Role categories respectively.
It was a momentous year for India as it held the 95th Academy Awards as RRR’s chartbuster Naatu Naatu won the Best Original Song while The Elephant Whisperer won the Best Documentary Shorts category. However, the third nomination Shaunak Sen’s All That Breathes, lost to Navalny in the Best Documentary Feature Film category.
SS Rajamouli directorial RRR had banked high records not just in India but across the globe and have mustered global traction especilly for the song “Naatu Naatu”. On the other hand, All That Breathes had bagged prestigious awards at international film festivals, including Cannes Film Festival and Sundance Film Festival.
