Deepika Padukone along with hubby Ranbir Singh and acid attack survivors celebrated her 34th birthday bash in Lucknow. The actress was also accompanied by Vikrant Massey and Laxmi Agarwal.
Bollywood’s famous actress Deepika Padukone celebrated her 34th birthday with Acid Attack Survivors. The actress cut a 4 kg cake at the ‘Sheroes’ cafe Lucknow. (an NGO that works for acid attack survivors). Deepika’s film Chhapaak is scheduled to release on January 10, in which she is playing the role of Lakshmi, an acid attack victim. Film actor Ranveer Singh was also present with Deepika. Deepika spent about three and a half hours with Acid Survivors. She reached Sheroes Café at 3:30 pm. The program concluded around 7 pm. Deepika was also accompanied by actor Vikrant Massey and director Meghna Gulzar of the film Chhapaak. Deepika photographed with Acid Survivors. All her fans had reached Deepika before reaching here. While getting out of the car, fans were eager to get a glimpse of her.Deepika Padukone said- The way the society looks at us is very small. Apart from celebrating her birthday, Deepika Padukone promoted her upcoming film Chhapaak, which is based on the life of Laxmi Agarwal, who was attacked with acid when she was 15. Director Meghna Gulzar said – In the year 2017, there were 250 acid attack cases. An incident occurred every third-fourth day. It is not necessary that a large number start, we all should try individually. If a change in people’s thinking starts, we will feel that our effort was successful. At the same time, actor Vikrant Massey said – The role that I have played is influenced by them. It is a very heartbreaking thing, hope this abominable crime gets stopped. Deepika is doing the biopic of Acid Survivor Lakshmi Aggarwal. In the film, she herself will be seen fighting the battle for her rights in the role of Acid Survivor. Three girls from Uttar Pradesh are acting in this film. Among them are Kunti Soni of Lucknow, Jeetu Sharma of Aligarh, Bala Prajapati of Bijnor, and Ritu Saini of Haryana.
