Sunny Deol and Karisma Kapoor were in the lead roles in the film. Other stars starred in the film were Reena Roy, Sadashiv Amrapurkar, Kiran Kumar, Suresh Oberoi, Mohnish Bahl, Sharat Saxena, Farida Jalal, Laxmikant Berde and others.
The film was produced and directed by Suneel Darshan. While the shoot of the film, director Suneel Darshan shot many intimate and bold scenes between Karisma Kapoor and Sunny Deol. But when the film got completed he edited all the bold scenes and put only romantic scenes of the actors in the film. He did so because at that time a film with bold scenes had to face the criticism of the audience.
When Sunny Deol came to know about it. He got raged and had a fight with Suneel Darshan. He convinced him to add all the deleted bold scenes he took with Karisma Kapoor but Suneel released the film with adding them.
