Last year and with the start of this year we saw a number of celebrity marriages. Amidst of that, a sad news is around the corner. Yes, one of the hottest TV couple, Ridhi Dogra and Raqesh Bapat, has announced their separation. They confirmed their split after 7 years of their marriage.
The couple has been living separately for so long but there was no any official announcement of their separation. But now they have come forward and released a joint statement, calling off their split. In their statement to a leading news website, the couple stated that,
“Yes, we are living separately. This decision has been taken with mutual respect and care for each other and our families. We are two best friends who may not be a couple anymore. But our friendship will continue as it always has, through thick and thin. Appreciate if no further speculation is made and heartfelt gratitude to everyone for all the love you have always given us.”
Ridhi and Raqesh two met on the sets of the show ‘Maryada’ and fell head over heels in love. They tied the knot on May 29, 2011. They also participated in the couple dance reality show Nach Balliye. Ridhi and Raqesh made a beautiful couple, they looked so good together but the sad part is they are no more together now.
