Bollywood actress, the 42 years old Ameesha Patel is in news for her upcoming project. The actress was away from the limelight since quite some time now. She was last seen in the super flop film Bhaiya Ji Superhit, however, the film was in the making since 2011 but it got released in 2018 due to big delays.
But now she managed to grab the spotlight as she has signed her next project. A leading entertainment website has revealed an exclusive piece of information that Patel has signed her next, which is a feature film, and her fans are in for a treat as the actress will be seen as a femme fatale.
To let you know, a femme fatale, sometimes called a maneater, is a stock character of a mysterious and seductive woman whose charms ensnare her lovers, often leading them into compromising, dangerous, and deadly situations.
The film is titled as The Great Indian Casino, the project is directed by Rupesh Paul, who is best known for directing the 2015 film, Kamasutra 3D. An inside source told,
“The makers have been trying to get Patel on board since some time. She was signed 3 days ago and would soon kickstart the filming of the project. It is a mix of neo-noir and Poliziotteschi and Patel’s character would be more like Eva Green’s from Sin City.”
