Popular TV actress Ankita Lokhande is currently a contestant on Salman Khan’s ‘Bigg Boss 17’. Ankita and Sushant, who fell in love during the shooting of the TV show, ‘Pavitra Rishta’, started dating in 2010 and got separated in 2016. The conversation between Ankita and Munnawar became the highlight of the episode, and netizens shared clips from the episode on social media. Talking about her break-up with Munawar Faruqui, Ankita revealed that her relationship with Sushant lasted for seven years. The actress even added that he was manipulated by other people.

In a conversation with co-contestant Munawar Faruqui, she shared how she had been in a relationship with Sushant for several years. She explained how the breakup not only left her shattered but even her parents were heartbroken.
When probed further about the trolling she faced after her ex-boyfriend’s suicide in 2020, she explained that she jumped into the matter to issue clarifications as people needed to know who the real Sushant was. Talking about the breakup and the real reason behind it she said there was none. The 38-year-old actress said, “Main kahi involved nahi thi, fir bhi main khadi hui because main chahti ki log jaane vo kaun tha. Log tab kaha the, jab mera breakup chal raha tha. Main vo phase akele gujazara… There was no reason for breakup. I was blank.. Ek raat mein cheeze change hui meri life mein.”
After her breakup with the late actor, Ankita tied the knot with her husband Vicky Jain in a grand ceremony in 2021. The couple has been living their best life as they are often seen taking to social media to flaunt their lifestyle, leaving admirers in awe.
