The producers of the show Bigg Boss OTT 3 have reported a cybercrime because of a fake video involving contestants Armaan Malik and Kritika Malik. Here’s what happened in simple terms. First, a video showing Armaan and Kritika being close under the sheets after the house lights were off went viral. People criticized the show for promoting inappropriate content.Then, another video appeared, showing them allegedly engaged in a sexual act under a blanket.
This caused even more anger and led Shiv Sena leader Manisha Kayande to file a police complaint against the show’s producers.In response to all this, Jio Cinema, the platform that streams Bigg Boss OTT 3, stated that the viral video was fake and had been altered. They have now asked the Cyber Crime unit to investigate and find out who created and shared the fake video.

Initially this controversial video that is making rounds was shared by an account named ‘Khabri,’ which provides daily updates on Bigg Boss OTT . According to the users the intimate moment took place late at night when most of the housemates were asleep.
However, Jio Cinema issued an official statement questioning the authenticity of the clip stating, “JioCinema adheres to strict programming standards and guidelines to ensure quality and appropriateness of any content that streams on our platform. Bigg Boss OTT, which was streamed on JioCinema, did not have any such content. The video clip in circulation include obscenity and is fake.” They added that they are working to trace the origins of the clip and will take action against those responsible for the defamatory content.
