The time-traveling car, the seventh skateboard, the self-tie shoes… They return regularly. The last film in the much-loved Back to the Future film trilogy was released in 1990, but that doesn’t mean the film series just lives on.
Now it has been revealed that the franchise is returning, but not in movie form. In 2023 we see Marty and Doc back in Back to the Future: The Musical To Broadway.

“Set your watches back – The Future is coming to Broadway in 2023!!!” reads on Twitter with a quick video of Doc Brown and Marty McFly driving the famous DeLorean.

Incidentally, the musical has been around for a while. In 2020, the show debuted at the Manchester Opera House and later won the Olivier Award for Best New Musical.
