Harry Potter fame Daniel Radcliffe will play the villain in the upcoming action comedy and Paramount’s romantic adventure The Lost City D . Starring Sandra Bullock and Channing Tatum in the lead roles, the film also stars Patti Harrison and Da’Vine Joy Randolph. Bullock will produce under its Fortis Films banner alongside Liza Chasin for 3dot Productions and Seth Gordon for the exhibition A.
The Lost City of D is directed by Adam and Aaron Nee with the two working with Dana Fox on the production project. By Deadline, the story follows a reclusive romantic novelist ( Sandra Bullock ) who was sure nothing could be worse than getting stuck on a book tour with her cover model (Channing Tatum) until a kidnapping attempt takes them both on a fierce jungle adventure, proving that life can be so much stranger and more romantic than any of its pocket fictions.
Daniel Radcliffe is best known for growing up in the role of Harry Potter, a role he described from his childhood through his early adulthood. Over a 10-year span, Radcliffe played the iconic wizard in eight films between 2001 and 2011. Collectively, the franchise grossed around $ 7.7 billion at the global box office, and nothing more. Harry Potter films are currently in the works, the franchise continues to live with the Fantastic Beasts spinoff series.
After Harry Potter , Radcliffe appeared in a variety of roles drastically different from the boy wizard. “In most of the big studios, I find the scripts not as stimulating, weird or interesting as what they do in the indie world or even in the television world. So the things that I gravitate towards, so far, they just happen to be in the independent world, ”Radcliffe said in a StarLifestyle interview in 2019.
Noting that he’s always ready to revisit a successful project in the right script, Radcliffe added, “But if something is going on in the studios and I love the script, I’d love to be a part of. a great crazy movie. It’s just a matter of waiting for the right script. ”
