England encouraged the world-class duo James Anderson and Stuart Broad to put on some fireworks before Lunch was announced.
England is trailing by only 14 runs and will be taking the advantage to get close to the dominating performance by the Kiwis as the visitors scored 553 runs in their first innings to which Pope and Root’s tragic partnership assisted the hosts to come as close as 539 runs.
Ben Stokes backed up its two lethal gunners before Lunch was announced and surely got the resulting team England craved for.
James Anderson struck his 650th wicket by sending off Tom Latham in the very first over of the third innings after Tom wondered it to be a miraculous swinging delivery. James Anderson delivered a magic inswing which Tom thought to be a “leave” ball but was hit on deck very hard when the ball pushed the off stump to fly away with the bizarrely entertaining delivery.
Stuart Broad, who has a slight chance to experience the last match at Trent Bridge assisted Anderson with some aggressive performance. Broad is still finding his first wicket for the third innings and intending to strike one very soon.

Talking about the fielding position, the hosts are in an attack mode as 4 slips have been set up along with short positions at leg and silly mid-on.

Potts bowled the first of his and last before lunch was announced as the Kiwis are 27-1 and lead by 41 runs.
