In a latest interview, Bollywood actor Flora Saini talked about the domestic abuse faced by her back in 2007 at the hands of her ex-boyfriend. She recalls the dreadful event of being sexually harassed and beaten by him and then came openly finally in 2018 at the onset of the MeToo movement. Recently she adds on to the already mentioned that she was almost killed while she chose to keep quiet as he threatened to do the same with her parents.
In the interview, Flora mentioned that she went with her producer-boyfriend Gaurang Doshi for a shoot and he asked her to substantiate her love for him. She recalls him being very sweet in the start later showing the real, in the process he also fooled his parents. The actor further mentioned that the recent killing of Shraddha Walkar, by her boyfriend Aftab Poonawala in Delhi.
“Your parents see the red flags. In Shraddha’s case as well, the same happened. They first cut you out from your family. I also left my home, and within a week of moving in with him, I was being bashed up. I couldn’t understand why he was beating me up suddenly, because in my eyes he was a really nice guy,” Flora was found quoting in a conversation with News18.
