‘Forced to wear an underwired bra, I suffered severe chest pain’ Says Bollywood Actress Sapna Pabbi

Sapna Pabbi is one of the popular actresses who worked in Bollywood and Punjabi films and web series. She debuted in Bollywood with film Khamoshiyan opposite Ali Fazal. She recently came to the limelight when after Tanushree Dutta’s #meToo confession against Nana Patekar, she also revealed that she suffered physical misconduct at the workplace.

Sapna told how the producer of her film didn’t care a fig for her health and asked her to wear an underwired bra. She also revealed how women sometimes also play an important role in making other women feel harassed. She mentioned that even her female stylist on the sets declared her behaviour ‘difficult’ when she said the bra caused her chest pain. The actress narrated her incident as:

“I had to wear a bikini for a song and dance sequence. During my trials, I had informed my stylist (female) that jumping around in this underwired bikini for more than 7 hours would eventually cause me severe chest pains and if we could just remove the underwire I would feel more comfortable and pain-free. I was forced to wear this bikini as is, as my male director insisted it stay this way. I went ahead and did as I was told in the fear of being dropped/blacklisted from this production house. I woke up in the middle of my sleep due to these agonising chest pains. I will never forget how I resorted to screaming into my pillow.”

Sapna also supported Tanushree and said she believed every single word Tanushree said about her sexual misconduct. Sapna took to Instagram to share a long post about her horrific experience. Check out her post below:

To let you know, Sapna Pabbi is a British actress and model known for her work as Kiran Rathod in the Indian television series 24 and Hindi film Khamoshiyan.
